Cynical move to get black votes
A politician in the “United” States held a political rally at a funeral in an attempt to shore up his support among mentally ill African American voters. Political culture in the nation hit a new low as the former reality television celebrity burst into bizarre stream of consciousness whinging that included a whole cloth story about “[somewhere, not specified] allowed their mental institutions to be emptied out into the United States of America”. An analysis of this politician’s personal history of accusations (one Donald J Trump) reveals that many if not most of his accusations are confessions, in one way or another. Mr. Trump’s “eulogy” serves to remind us that he and his disciples (including the one he was eulogizing) over time have unleashed a collective permission slip for tens of millions of Americans to detach from reality.
On this occasion, Trumpism again was successful in shifting attention away from the rampant mental illness we witness among Trumpists. Mr. Trump, who displays perhaps the most dramatic example of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) in all of North America, projected the illness of he and his followers onto immigrants by rambling about an imaginary world where he and his followers are the victims of foreign mental illness being forced upon them. Such a move apparently shrouded fellow celebrities “Diamond and Silk” (now just Silk since it was Diamond’s funeral), hiding them away from any discussion of their mental health. The depth of this perverted irony is almost difficult to fathom.
Breaking news: nobody was surprised that Mr. Trump held a political rally at a funeral.
Diamond was scientifically illiterate
Diamond was another freak of U.S. political culture who used her fame to spread fake news and hateful lies amongst low IQ compatriots. As with Candice Owens, Diamond also served the role of “my black friend” for white MAGAts who wanted to exercise plausible deniability. But she probably had fans within the nation’s black population too; we have to wonder how many African Americans were led astray by her hostility towards the pandemic vaccines.
If Diamond and Silk had truly cared about the health of others, they would have hyped cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention rather than vaccine hesitancy. CVD is the leading cause of death for black Americans, and indeed it [hypertension] was behind Diamond’s demise. Sadly, this did not stop medically illiterate MAGAts from blaming vaccines for her death. We should never expect anything other than conspiracy theories from America’s Right.
