American Executioner Daniel Penny

The Self-Appointed Executioner

Daniel Penny killed a disorderly man on the F train in NYC on May 1. (Police let him walk.) When an American enjoys choking another American as much as Penny seemingly enjoyed choking the life out of Jordan Neely, it makes you wonder who else this guy choked in the past. In a divided (i.e., not “United”) nation where reality has become a subjective matter, you can’t even get everyone to agree that Americans who slowly choke the life out of other Americans are a serious menace to society and should be treated accordingly. In fact, many in the “United” States would prefer more lethal violence dealt out by vigilantes like American executioner Daniel Penny. The whole concept of why America tried to get rid of vigilante “justice” flies right over their seemingly empty heads.

Spend time on public transportation and you’ll eventually witness a rider’s deteriorating mental health made public. It’s no fun for anyone involved, but Americans who still have an ounce of humanity left in them realize that the person experiencing acute, often dramatic distress is probably already beaten down. Until we reach that socialist Star Trek utopia that awaits us in the future (a future that will never happen so long as Elon Musk is involved in space travel), untreated mental illness among those living in poverty will collectively be a part of our lives in populated areas. How you react to it tells us what kind of person you are. Daniel Penny showed us that he’s watched too many movies and somehow cast himself as a hero that we all need. Nobody needed Daniel Penny on May 1. One could easily make the argument that Jordan Neely wasn’t the only mentally disturbed person involved in the lethal incident.

Why Don’t We All Just Become Self-Appointed Executioners?

If you want an opinion on urban life (especially one about black folk and how they die), many rural whites will be sure to repeat to you the tropes and talking points they’ve heard from lowlife scum like Tucker Carlson and Rush Limbaugh. Have rubes spent enough time in the city to have even the most fleeting understanding of urban dynamics and interaction? Almost certainly not. Have they ever walked a mile in the shoes of someone who was born into a life they can’t imagine? You can be sure they have not. Yet these “real Americans” from “the heartland” can’t wait to give us their extremely well-informed opinion about urban life and how we in cities should live and deal with problems that have no bearing on them.

America is a very violent place. If a Martian observed the “United” States from a flying saucer, it could conclude that Americans must enjoy shooting other Americans. A toxic vigilantism still emanates outwards from certain states stuck in a 17th/18th century Wild West mentality. This accompanied by gun fetishism contaminates other states and Canada. Hollywood makes billions commodifying violence and glamorizing guns and vigilantes on screens. Elite doucebags (here’s looking at you, Elon) with their extremist class warfare love to scapegoat Americans who have nowhere to live. (If you didn’t hear the punchline to that one: the stabbing death of Bob Lee that Elon tried to pin on the homeless was committed by another tech bro). There is no one answer to the problems both faced by and presented by Americans like Jordan Neely. American executioner Daniel Penny — and those like him — do not represent a solution.
